This was an amazing trip back to the summer of 1952 when unusual lights filled the skies over the US. Mr. Hopkins does a great job of providing different perspectives to an event.. He does this through a collection of short stories, all witnesses to the lights in the sky. The author has an amazing grasp of the lingo, styles and feel of the early 1950s. After reading it I believed in UFOs, and then did some research to find the the sightings were indeed real. He says so in the preface of the book. "In the summer of 1952, people across the United States reported seeing strange lights in the skies. These sightings began in the west then moved east, peaking that July along the Atlantic seaboard. The lights have never been explained." That sets the tone of the book and it never falters. Great read. Highly recommend.Product details
